Show Spoiler
Where may I locate this tool
PS - I did not have GuildPub-Messengers_District_PubGUIs.prp
EDIT: I have gone back for 6 months of System Image Backups no repair tool found
The awesome 'Repair Tool' is in the Start Menu folder, Wam ... Yesterday it saved my life lol, otherwise I wouldn't have had the chance to experience all that GZ awesomeness and the Pub party at all, or maybe much later with Adam's help or so ... :P

I have checked the "Start Menu" and do not have a Gehn Shard folder nor short cut

I have only 2 short cuts on the desktop one for the logs and one for the Shard

Mine can be found under "all programs", where there is a Gehn shard folder containing the repair tool, the launcher, the user profile and the uninstall tool. This is my Win7 laptop.

My win8.1 laptop lists these items under Gehn shard on the "Apps by name" page- what do you use, Wam?

I am using 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate service pack one

When I click start - All Programs NONE of the Cyan Games show up. The only place the Cyan Games show up is on my desktop.

Here is a screenshot of that desktop

It's likely then that your installation predates our installer giving you the Repair shortcut. This makes sense; you've been around here from long before the shard started, and might not have re-installed since!

You can make your own by duplicating the shortcut you use to launch the game, selecting the properties for that new shortcut, and giving it an appropriate name such as Gehn Shard - Repair.

Then, in the Target field, after the end of the existing text add (make sure that a space separates it from the previous text):

Code: Select all

/ServerIni=repair.ini /Repair

The end result should resemble (but do not copy this, as your path may be different):

Code: Select all

"C:\Games\Gehn Shard\UruLauncher.exe" /ServerIni=repair.ini /Repair

I Created the shortcut "Gehn Shard - Repair"
with the target being ""C:\Cyan\Gehn Shard\UruExplorer.exe" /ServerIni=repair.ini /Repair"

and after about 1 minute I get an error
URU has experienced a serious Error

OK. Now, go into your Gehn Shard dat folder. Look for any files that are 0 bytes in size. If you see any, delete them.
