They did know that we wouldn't be expecting their "soon" to be this soon and that it probably won't be again.

That makes me (and I'm sure a lot of other people) very happy! I know Cyan is strapped right now and this is a huge show of good faith to their fanbase!

Ok, so now people can get the MOUL files for Drizzle easier than ever....

Seriously, finally having a Shard in public is a huge and necessary step to keep the fan base, though it's not the only possible one. Let's hope those amazon servers are not too crashy - from the IP addresses, it looks like MOULagain is hosted in the Amazon AWS Cloud (just like MQO)

Cyan has made clear that OS Uru is still on the horizon.. Just how close or far this horizon is is anyone's guess...

Emphasis on the *first step* part. That doesnt' mean there is any actual progress on the OSS front, and it's not the good news that we hoped but that's probably the best we can get right now.

Looks like the servers are down again. Had finally gotten the patcher to finish this morning. So it loaded the game and was at the update screen, it eventually timed out. And now the patcher is not connecting to the servers, so I would say their down again.

I was in the middle of a tsogal run with nadnerb when it soiled the bed
