Ah, here it is: http://forum.guildofwriters.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3199
They are the ones to be thanked, not me!

You need to change a variable in Garrison.sdl as well (grsnClimbingWallEnabled[1] DEFAULT=0 should be grsnClimbingWallEnabled[1] DEFAULT=1) using PlasmaShop or something.

Wait, I'm confused now. So do I need to install that patch or not? Because when installing the patch, it said CC would become unusable. Obviously, I didn't continue with the installation. So if I just modify the Garrison.sdl file, it will work?

You need to install the patch AND then change the variable.

I noticed that warning too but didn't care. :) It works for me, at least Gahreesen does. You may want to use a separate CC installation (I did). Someone else may be able to tell us in what way CC becomes unusable.

Anyways, so as not to hijack this thread  : would drizzled files work with a patched installation? Pitfalls?

Well, unfortunately, I don't have the kind of hard drive space to have a separate install. I have 40GB max, and that's full to less than 1.6GB. So even the patch would set me back pretty far. Guess I'll have to wait and see...

So ....... what are the chances of adding the Gahreesen wall to Drizzle 22 or the next offline KI for those of us who are Mechanically inclined but technically challenged

Frits: If Drizzle gives an error in the log box during conversion, please post that.

Karkadann: It's on the todo list, but I have to admit it's pretty low priority for me, as I thought both the wall and heek were painfully unfun. Higher up on the todo list is the Kadish Gallery Doors ;)

Like I said before; there is no file called; C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\Cyan Worlds\MOUL-Ages\dat\Neighborhood02.fni in this folder.
The only file that is called like that is in the folder; C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\Cyan Worlds\Uru - Ages Beyond Myst\dat.
Now is it possible that there are two files with the same name, one in...\Uru -Ages Byond Myst and the other in ...\MOUL-Ages?

Regards,
Frits

Sooo, I have a couple of problems. For one, my neighborhood has this strange way of not working, in which it gets stuck at fully loaded, but stays on the loading screen. However, it is no longer loading, and the cursor (the Uru one) moves and fades in and out as if the age was fully loaded and I was playing, while when the age is still loading, the cursor's movement is slow and very jerky. I converted all of the files that had the neighborhood_district_nb01 "prefix", since I think I converted the MOUL neighborhood01.prp files, and I figured that those could be important, but that didn't make it work. I think there were some errors that went with it , but I think that most of those errors came from converting the heek stuff, which I know you didn't work on. Anyway, here are the errors and their associated files:

And this is new, I think. I just went to convert Neighborhood_District_nb01.prp and got this:

Oh, and this was all in manual conversion. And I didn't delete the existing files in the dat folder.

Frits: so the Age you're missing is Neighborhood02, which is Kirel. See if you can get the complete MOUL files off of someone.

crazyrider: The manual conversion tab is meant for advanced users. It can be tricky to make it work, because a person may have to do things like modify .age and .sum files. And in this case, it sounds like you're mixing Pots files and MOUL files for the same Age, which is great when it works, but various things can go wrong. Most people should stick to the Simplicity tab; the manual conversion tab (and most things under the Advanced tab) is intended for people like Agenotfound.

Ah, well, guess I thought I was more advanced than I really am. :P Well, I'll see if converting the rest of those files from the MOUL install does the trick, and if not, there's no time like the present for a re-install. Of course, the one thing that I don't back up is the age data. Maybe I'll do that the next time around. Oh, and I realized that the graphics just didn't want to load. I could bring up the KI, and interact with it, but couldn't see it, nor hear it.
