Anyone can participate in the BETA test. It will be two phases:
Phase One: the new site will run on a COPY of the database.
Phase Two: the new site will run on the LIVE database.
So, during phase one, you can do anything you want. This is to make sure that there are no major bugs. Basically, the goal of phase one is to break the system
When it is determined that the site is working will, phase two will begin. Any changes that were done on the new site during phase one will go away. During phase two, both the old and the new websites will access the same database. Now we can focus on the small bugs.
After phase two is working well, the new site will go live and the old site will go away.
For phase one, anyone - even people who don't speak multiple languages - can participate.
