The Writer's Path

Introduction:
I'm Nejkatt, quite new here at Guild of Writers, but my over active mind has already started working on a project for the Myst universe, so here goes:

The project:
The project is a story and a series of ages that goes under the name of the Writer's Path.

It's centered around a currently unnamed D'ni who was a writer of ages, currently refereed to as the Writer.
You find his journal, a note and a link to one of his ages, the note asking you to preserve his legacy, this is the beginning of your journey.

The Writer died from an unknown decease in 9353 and his ages has been abandoned ever since.

Progress:
So far the project is only on the drawing board, the true extent of the project not fully explored.
I haven't yet fully decided on the true request of the Writer, i.e. what you are supposed to do in the ages.

Any feedback on this would be much appreciated.
