A screenshot would be very helpful in illustrating the problems you see.

Try moving the slider...
...the one for changing the resolution in-game. Maybe you need to re-input a resolution that fits the aspect ratio for your monitor. You may want to look up what the resolution reads on one of the shards where it works okay first. Then set it to match for this shard.

I don't know how to get a screen shot. Graphics settings are off the page to the bottom right.
Some shards let you set things on the way in, This one doesn't

Re: windows 7>10 upgrade - problems
That sounds like a deeper problem. You've set your game resolution much too high, or your desktop resolution much too small.hhhenry wrote:I don't know how to get a screen shot. Graphics settings are off the page to the bottom right.
I don't know of any modern MOULa-based servers that provide graphics options in the launcher. Only the old Uru:CC/UU-based ones did that.hhhenry wrote:Some shards let you set things on the way in, This one doesn't
You have two options to fix your resolution issue:
A) Press F4 when in-game to bring up the options menu. From there you can select the Graphic Settings menu and change the resolution to something more appropriate for your system.
or
B) Quit Gehn, and delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\Uru - Gehn Shard\Init\graphics.ini, then restart Gehn. It will recreate the file using the default resolution options.

FIXED!

Re: windows 7>10 upgrade - problems
Oh, you're running Windows at a non-standard DPI! That would have been useful information to open with, for future reference.hhhenry wrote:FIXED!

Re: windows 7>10 upgrade - problems
I'm not aware than I'm using a "non-standard' resolution. It's 1920x1080 recommend by Win 10
This fix also worked for an old program with the same symptoms that I was running in s DOS box.

I didn't say resolution, I said DPI (as did you).hhhenry wrote:I'm not aware than I'm using a "non-standard' resolution. It's 1920x1080 recommend by Win 10

THANKS! And I do use multiple monitors.
And I did the same fix to every ururlauncher.exe and a bunch of other programs for fuzzy text. Win 10 is not designed for multiple monitors. It chokes!
