IC: to further advance the restoration of the City or available Ages, the DRC opens a contest similar to the stained glass restoration contests. The theme would be in the lines of "Restore the room behind the door on the second landing of the great stairs". The DRC would specifiy the room measurements, function and other constraints. At some undisclosed point in the future, the door would be unlocked and we could explore the winning entry.

Something about this just clicked with me, and I thought of something that combined a lot of things that we know already.
Robert, if I recall, was the one who told us how we can limit the load/lag of Ahra Pahts through his door system. Now, take that, and also what Chacal said, you may have an idea of what I'm thinking.
What if, in the future of the Guild, we construct a large number of Ages. Now, assume for argument's sake, that we sparingly create a CRA. By this I mean, the age is opened to the public little by little. IC, we use sounding equipment on "unstable" rooms and give people the specs of what the room should be sized when we begin to restore it. People can send in ideas of what the room will look like so we can "prepare" for what might be in there.
This would allow the public to play a part in creating the Ages, and yet we'd have something that would keep people coming back day after day.
I think this could be applied to other places as well. Chacal mentioned Ae'gura during his post. Perhaps using Robert's system of doors to isolate different parts from being a large file, the game could run smoother and more areas could be added. This would make it so people would WANT to explore new things every day.
I don't know, I just thought I'd make a separate post for this as it might be received differently in this way than in Chacal's topic. After all, it IS Chacal's topic, not mine.
